My Magic Wand is Perhaps Imperfectly Perfect
Dear Radiant Soul,
I am a Certified Health Coach, Self-Care Goddess, and Wellness Entrepreneur. I call my skin friendly lifestyle my magic wand because though it usually takes longer than a wave, it heals my skin holistically like magic.Β However, after reflecting on a recent event, I was reminded that my magic wand is perhaps an imperfectly perfect one.
I have not had skin issues for quite some time, then a few days ago, I had two inflamed spots on my left shoulder.Β I was able to heal them without steroids, and I knew exactly how I got myself into that situation, so what happened?
I have a skincare routine I do after workout, but that day I was too tired to do it after my jump rope session, even though I knew my skin would not be happy.Β The exercise alone that day did not cause the exhaustion, but how I managed my day did!Β I had many demands put on me, I did not push back on anything, and just went ahead and did everything.Β I put me on the bottom of the To Do list, so by the time I finished all the items for the day, I was too tired to do selfcare, and my skin responded immediately!
What if my lifestyle were a perfect magic wand? I would have avoided the skin problems, because I would wave and have all the mental power to say no and not take on so many things in the first place, or I would wave and make me energetic again so I could do the routine β¦I would use it in other ways on many people, too, e.g. I would be able to make all skin-unfriendly environment and habits go awayβ¦
I have learned that we must nourish our mind, body and soul with true food to create health and radiant skin. My skin friendly lifestyle takes self-love, consistency, and some fairy dust i.e. my support and guidance to see the magic results, so is it imperfectly perfect? Perhaps you will let me know. :)
Thank you for being here, exactly as you are.
Yours Truly,
Diana
